The L.L.C. Globe Program-Camp is an athletics educational & cultural program, which focuses on the transnational contact of Greek immigrants abroad with their motherland, Greece, on fields such as sports, culture, Arts & Letters, as well as their physical contact with Hellenic natural treasures, thus keeping alive their emotional contact with the country of their origin.

The above program was inspired and implemented by the Physical Education teacher/ national coach of basketball, Mr Thanos Softsis, as well as the coach and member staff of the Hellenic national basketball team, and ex international basketball player, MrKalampokis Giannis. Likewise, Ms Sidiropoulou Valanto is our external collaborator in Stuttgart, Germany and Mr Kampourakis Anastasios is our fellow partner in Saint Louis, U.S.A.

Greek immigrants abroad are the people in charge of linking their motherland Greece, with every corner of our planet, therefore boosting the cultural & financial opportunities for our country. The Hellenic Diaspora constitutes a potential extension of the Hellenic culture far beyond the current Greek borders.Hellenism abroad managed not only to survive, but also to develop important activities and initiatives in order to maintain its original identity.

As living proof of this close contact between Greek immigrants abroad and their motherland, Greece, comes a survey which took place under the supervision of “Kapa Research” Company in collaboration with the Centre of Hellenic Studies at Harvard University, USA, and was recently publicized. The Hellenic History, Greece’s natural beauty, and cultur alheritage, its deeply-rooted ties with the Orthodox church, the Greek cuisine and its recent financial crisis are some of the elements which form strong bonds amongst Greeks all over the world.

Through the L.L.C. Globe Program we aim to revive the athletic and cultural principles of the diachronic Hellenism and pass down the “Lights” of the Hellenic civilization on the next generations, so that Hellas will be once again a source of general & multi-level inspiration for the whole world
